HealthFocus International has released its “2008 International Trend Study,” which offers an in-depth look at primary grocery shopper attitudes toward health and wellness in 19 countries. The study examines: why people pursue health and wellness and their barriers to it; exercise and eating patterns; key health concerns for children; higher level benefits that consumers seek, such as cosmetic and performance; shopper health concerns; shopper health issues, such as stress and tiredness; consumer views on important trends; and shopper interest in ingredients, such as omega 3s and whole grains. The report offers a global attitudinal segmentation of shoppers based on their different health and wellness attitudes and behaviors.
